This privacy policy explains how Hällsten HQ AB (“we”, “us”) handles personal data in our apps and on our website, hallstenhq.se.

03Our apps

Data you create in the app

Content you create in our apps is stored on your device. If an app supports iCloud sync, your data is stored in your own iCloud account and handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We cannot access it.

Purchases

Downloads, in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple only tells us what is needed to unlock what you have bought.

Statistics and crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers on your device, Apple provides us with aggregated statistics and crash reports, for example the number of installations and how often an app crashes. This information does not identify you, and we use it only to improve our apps. You can turn this off at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Device permissions

If an app asks for access to something on your device, such as photos, the camera or notifications, that access is used only for the feature you are using, and the data stays on your device. You can change permissions at any time in Settings.

04Our website

Our website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking, and all fonts and images are served from our own website. Like every website, it is delivered by a hosting provider that processes technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver the pages and protect the website against abuse. We do not use this information to identify you.

05When you contact us

If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message, so that we can answer you and help with support. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your matter and delete it no later than two years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

06Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf: our website hosting provider and our email provider. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. We may disclose data if we are required to by law, for example to a public authority.

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When that happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision from the European Commission or by the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

07Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To use your rights, email us at hej@hallstenhq.se.

If you think we handle your personal data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.

08Children

Our apps are not designed to collect personal data from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we release new apps or features. The latest version is always published on this page, together with the date it was last updated.
